From the very beginning, we started building a global infrastructure focused on the highest standards. 2015: Relocation to Luxembourg Our main office opened in Luxembourg. In the same year, we prepared the launch of our key IaaS products: content/content delivery network (CDN) and hosting. 2016: Going to Market This year, we officially launched our products. CDN provided our customers with lightning-fast delivery of media content around the world, while hosting provided instant access and excellent connectivity. 2017: Introduction of New Products We expanded our content delivery network and introduced new products such as DDoS protection and S3/SFTP object storage. Our presence grew to 41 locations across four continents. 2018: Launch of Streaming Platform We launched a streaming platform that combined transcoding, CDN, storage and HTML5 player for convenient video delivery and monetization. 2019: Launch of Cloud Services With the launch of our services in Johannesburg, our network covered every continent except Antarctica. This year, we also launched our own cloud, and the number of employees exceeded 200. 2020: New Cloud Services We offered customers new cloud services: load balancers, an AI platform, Bare Metal, and a marketplace. We also launched a video calling service and one of the fastest DNS hosting services in the world. By the end of the year, we had more than 300 employees. 2021: Expand and Improve In 2021, we were present in more than 100 traffic exchange points and ranked among the top 10 global networks in terms of p2p connections. We integrated basic web application security into our CDN and launched our Managed Kubernetes service. We opened offices in Germany and added more than 400 employees. 2022: Further Development We increased the number of locations to more than 140, including more than 20 unique cloud locations and more than 40 data centers worldwide. In 2022, we aggressively developed infrastructure in Southeast Asia, Old World (Europe), Africa and Latin America. New offices were opened in Singapore, the Philippines and the U.S. Gcore continues to embrace the latest technologies and provide customers around the world with high-quality cloud and edge services, as well as security and content delivery solutions. Our goal is to make AI accessible to everyone anytime, anywhere, providing ongoing development and support for our customers.
